Your Privacy Matters

Last updated: June 10, 2025

I'm just one person building this tool. I try my best to protect your privacy, but I make no guarantees. This explains what I collect and what I do with it.

What We Collect

Poll Creators

Email address (for login), timezone preference, poll data (title, description, time slots)

Poll Participants

Name (optional), availability selections, timezone (auto-detected)

Automatic Collection

IP addresses (for security), browser type (for compatibility)

How I Use Your Data

  • To operate the service and display polls
  • To send email notifications (only when you opt-in)
  • To prevent abuse and ensure security
  • To improve our service through anonymized analytics

Data Storage and Security

Encryption

I try to use encryption, but I'm not a security expert

Location

Hosted somewhere in the cloud, I try to follow GDPR

Retention

Old data gets cleaned up eventually, no promises on timing

Your Rights (GDPR-ish)

In theory, you have these rights (I'll do my best):

Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
Export your data in portable format
Object to processing
Lodge complaints with authorities

To exercise these rights, email rudi@www.meetsched.app (but remember, I'm just one person with limited time)

Additional Privacy Information

Data Sharing

I don't sell your data (who would buy it anyway?). I might share it when:

  • You explicitly ask (e.g., calendar integrations)
  • Required by law (I'll try to tell you if I can)
  • Whatever cloud service I'm using needs it to work

Cookies

I use some cookies to make the site work. I'm not tracking you for ads or anything creepy. Disable them if you want, but stuff might break.

Children

This isn't really for kids under 16. If you're a kid, ask your parents before using this.

Changes

If I change how I handle your data, I'll try to let you know. No promises on timing though.

Privacy Questions?

I try to be transparent, but I'm just one person. If you have questions about privacy stuff, I'll do my best to answer when I have time.
