Terms of Service
Honest terms from a solo developer doing their best
Welcome to MeetSched
Last updated: June 10, 2025
By using MeetSched, you agree to these terms. I'm a solo developer doing my best to provide a useful service, but I make no guarantees. Use at your own risk.
The Service
MeetSched is a scheduling tool built and maintained by one person (me). I provide it "as is" with absolutely no guarantees about availability, functionality, or data safety. I do my best to keep it running, but stuff breaks sometimes.
Your Account
You're responsible for:
- Keeping your password secure
- All activity under your account
- Providing accurate information
- Notifying us of unauthorized access
I may suspend or delete accounts that abuse the service or cause problems. As a solo developer, I have limited time to deal with issues.
Acceptable Use
Don't be a jerk. Specifically, don't:
- Break any laws
- Harass, spam, or harm others
- Attempt to hack or overload our systems
- Scrape data without permission
- Impersonate others
Content and Privacy
Your content is yours. I need to store and display it to make the service work. I try to follow privacy best practices, but I'm just one person doing my best. See the Privacy Policy for more details.
Data Retention
When you delete content, I try to remove it from active systems immediately. I might keep backups for a while (maybe 30 days) in case something breaks. Old inactive data gets cleaned up eventually, but I make no promises about timing.
Legal Framework
Liability Limitations
I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING. If this service breaks, loses your data, or causes problems, that's on you for using it. I'm just one person doing my best with no guarantees. My liability is exactly €0.
Indemnification
If you cause problems or break laws using this service, that's your problem. Don't drag me into your mess. I'm just trying to build something useful.
Changes to Terms
I might update these terms when I feel like it. I'll try to give you some notice, but no promises. Keep using the service = you're okay with changes.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law since I'm in Oslo. If you have disputes, good luck - I'm just one person.
Questions?
Have questions? I'll try to help when I have time, but remember - I'm just one person building this in my spare time.
